# IndieRF > One working RF engineer, building free tools the community can actually use. Use every tool online for free. Sign in to save, download, export, and post in discussions. IndieRF is developed by one independent RF engineer for the community. Prototypes are coded with AI, then the math is checked by hand and the UI is curated against the workflow I actually use on the bench. Site: https://indierf.com ## Live tools - IndieRF RF Cascade Analyzer (https://indierf.com/cascade): Free browser-based RF cascade calculator. Drag-and-drop Friis noise figure, Gain, P1dB, OIP3, IM3, and SFDR for receive and transmit chains. - IndieRF dB Power Converter (https://indierf.com/tools/db-converter): Free dBm to watts, 50 Ω voltage, and kTB noise-floor converter for RF engineers. 10log vs 20log, bandwidth, and thermal noise in one bench tool. - IndieRF Transmission Line Calculator (https://indierf.com/tools/trace-studio): Free 50 Ω microstrip, stripline, GCPW, and CPW calculator. Compare substrate and surface-finish insertion loss, including ENIG and gold chip-and-wire. - IndieRF Notes (https://indierf.com/notes): Reference-plane-honest RF engineering notes on cascade math, microstrip plating loss, dB conversions, and Touchstone S-parameter review, with comments for signed-in engineers. - IndieRF S-parameter Viewer (https://indierf.com/sparam): Free Touchstone S-parameter plotter: log-mag, phase, VSWR, and group delay in the browser. Overlay SNP files, inspect markers, and compare units or temperature. - IndieRF Plot Digitizer (https://indierf.com/grabber): Free datasheet plot digitizer for RF engineers: turn NF, P1dB, and IP3 graphs into RF Cascade Analyzer parameter datasets. Fully client-side — nothing leaves your browser. ## Roadmap - IndieRF TDR Studio: Turn a one-port S11 into a time-domain reflectometry trace. Windowing, rise-time, dielectric, and distance-to-fault — the VNA option most benches cannot justify, as a free browser tool with the caveats labeled. - IndieRF Match: L-, Pi-, and T-section matching plus a Smith chart you can actually drive from a load, not a screenshot of one. Conjugate match, Q, and bandwidth in the same units RF Cascade Analyzer uses. - IndieRF Synthesizer: Loop-filter values, phase-noise integration to RMS jitter, and a figure-of-merit you can check against a datasheet. Not a full PLL simulator — a bench estimator with labeled limits. - IndieRF Link: Free-space path loss, EIRP, G/T, and MDS in one sheet that talks the same language as RF Cascade Analyzer. Point a link, then drop the received power into a cascade as the antenna source. - IndieRF Mixer Spur Chart: The mixer spur chart that is still a photocopied appendix in most labs. Pick RF, LO, IF, and order; see which products land in-band before you commit the frequency plan. - IndieRF Pad: Pi and T pad resistors for a given dB, into 50 Ω, with the minimum-loss matching pad when Zsrc ≠ Zload. A five-second tool that still lives in a spreadsheet tab for too many of us. - IndieRF Stability: Once S-parameter Viewer can plot a .s2p, the next honest question is: is this transistor unconditionally stable? K, μ, and circles — not a substitute for ADS, a check you can run before lunch. ## Access Use every tool online for free. Sign in to save, download, export, and post in discussions. Unsigned sessions still autosave in this browser so a refresh does not wipe the canvas. ## Model limits (RF Cascade Analyzer) - Matched, unidirectional scalar cascade. Not a general S-parameter or mismatch solver. - IM3 is modeled; IM2 is not. - Filters are scalar loss/NF, not spectral shaping. ## Optional updates https://indierf.com/waitlist
